Karla Louise Kirwan is a final year undergraduate student of the National college of Art and Design, in the course Fine Art and Education with a speciality in paint. Developing her teaching practice over the past four years and experiencing various amounts of school placements while studying the Irish Visual Art curriculum while advancing her skills and research in studio with her work revolving around emigration, personal and social growth and change.
